FAQs

What services do you offer?

We offer face painting, balloon twisting, airbrush tattoos and glitter tattoos for events such as birthday parties, corporate functions, festivals, and community events.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends or peak holiday seasons. A minimum of two weeks’ notice is ideal to secure your preferred date and time.

What is the cost for your services?

Pricing depends on the type of service, duration of the event, and number of artists needed. Please see our pricing guides and contact us for a customised quote based on your event details.

How many children can you accommodate per hour?
  • Face Painting: We can paint 10-12 children per hour.
    We can paint 18-20 children per hour with simple designs and stencil work.
    Face Painters in training: We can paint around 8-10 children per hour. 
  • Balloon Twisting: We can create 15-20 simple balloon designs per hour.
  • Glitter Tattoos: We can apply 15-20 glitter tattoos per hour.

For more detailed designs or a large number of guests, we may recommend additional artists.

Do you use safe and hypoallergenic products?

Yes, we use high-quality, FDA-compliant face paints and cosmetic-grade glitter that are safe for sensitive skin. Our balloons and tattoo materials are also safe and non-toxic. To find out more about what’s in our products, see our safety and sanitation page. 

Do you offer themed designs?

Absolutely! We can customise our face painting and balloon twisting designs to match your event’s theme. Just let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

What areas do you service?

We are based in Devonport and service the North West Coast of Tasmania. Travel fees may apply for events located outside of our usual service area.

What are your COVID-19 safety measures?

Our artists follow strict hygiene protocols, including sanitising hands and equipment between guests. We use individual sponges for each face painting and disposable applicators for glitter tattoos.

Do you provide your own setup and supplies?

Yes, we bring all necessary equipment, including tables, chairs, and supplies. We only require a shaded or indoor area for our setup, especially for outdoor events.

What if my event is outdoors?

Outdoor events are great! However, we do require a shaded area or tent to protect our supplies and artists from the sun. If you cannot provide one, we can bring our own for an additional fee.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

In case of inclement weather, we can reschedule your booking to a later date or move to an indoor location if available. Cancellation policies may apply, so please review our terms when booking.

Can we request the entertainer to stay longer at the event if it is busier than expected?

You are more than welcome to ask our friendly artists, it will be at their discretion if they are able to stay, and you will receive an invoice after your event for the additional time.

Can adults get face paintings, balloon designs, or glitter tattoos?

Absolutely! Our services are for all ages. We love creating unique designs for adults and children alike. However, at certain events we are hired to cater for children only, not to worry though, book us in for your next Birthday celebration.

How do I remove face paint and glitter tattoos?

Face paint can be removed with mild soap and water or a baby wipe. Glitter tattoos typically last 3-7 days and can be removed with baby oil or rubbing alcohol.

Do you require a deposit to book?

Yes, we typically require a [percentage] deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and online payments. Payment details will be provided at the time of booking.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy may include a refund of your deposit if canceled within a specified time frame.
